Gafrarar's first race in All Pro has a few challenges.

[Makes it up to 14th spot 28 laps to go - motor goes sour]

Memphis TN - Chuck Gafrarar raced all season in the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series, where he is presently leading the Mag Clip Rookie of the Year points challenge with one race to go October 25th. Gafrarar pulled out the stops in a week to get a ride, sponsorship and the package ready to head to Memphis for his first All Pro event! He took the wheel of the #5 Victor Ford car prepared by Richie Wauters. Gafrarar qualified in 30th spot - and considering he had about 30 laps in the car before qualifiying he looked at it as "maybe it's a good sign." With the race in motion, Gafrarar said "it was a great learning curve for me. The series is a good challenge and after being in the Dash car I really needed a few more laps before qualifiying. But we will do our best to come to the front." Gafrarar made his way up to 14th spot and with 28 laps to go the motor went sour!!

Gafrarar stated "this is a great competitive series and the cars are awesome. I would like to work out an All Pro deal to run a few more races in this series and be more competitive." Gafrarar and Wauters were acquainted years ago when Gafrarar was racing Legends cars at Lowes Speedway. Gafrarar said "the opportunity to run the event was an excellent opportunity and I had great sponsors behind me who really made this happen." For this event the Victor Ford #5 carried the sponsors of: ICEHOUSE Beer, Travel Club International - A World Wide Membership Group, Victor Ford, JHE Production Group INC., Five Star Bodies, Punchy Whitaker's Wheels & Tires, Inc., and CGR Raceworks INC.

Gafrarar made note to a special thanks to Bobby Gill Motorsports for providing the transporter for the event. "Bobby came on to help with the rig and it made the deal happen." Gafrarar also applauded the All Pro officials and other drivers for making him feel welcome in the series. "It's great to see that in our sport."

The next race on board for Gafrarar is the last of the NASCAR Goody's Dash events at Atlanta Speedway October 24th and 25th where he hopes to bring home the Mag-Clip Rookie of the Year title!
