Mooresville, NC - In the past 10 years Chuck Gafrarar, Mooresville
NC has “come home to Pennsylvania” but usually to visit
his parents, sister and friends. On Friday, Sept 13th Gafrarar heads
from his home in NC to Pennsylvania, this time to race at the Motordrome
in Smithton, PA. Gafrarar, driver of the NASCAR Touring car #52 will
take to the track to race the 13th event in the Dash series.
Gafrarar started out the series in January 2002 in Daytona with the
Rookie testing. Today, Gafrarar is leading the Mag-Clip Rookie of the
Year point’s challenge. Presently he’s in 8th spot with
the series point’s race.
Chuck Gafrarar Raceworks Inc, announces today a new sponsor logo will
appear on the #52 car Gafrarar takes across the checkered. The logo
of MeadWestvaco, Dayton,OH will be on board with Gafrarar and the Highlands
Motorsports Dash car! Gafrarar stated
“we are excited
about our new relationship with MeadWestvaco and look forward to adding
them to our Sponsor Team.” The company is a leading
global producer of packaging, coated and specialty papers, consumer
and office products.
“We are very happy to welcome
them aboard the #52,” stated Gafrarar.
Gafrarar commented on the anniversary of 9/11 said
“this
is a most difficult time for our country and a moment in history that
changed our lives.” He stated,
“we
race on the 13th with sad hearts, but with hopes to give the fans a
time to sit back and enjoy and look towards a new tomorrow for the
children of today.”
