Gafrarar pumped up for Kentucky

[ After Super Controlled WKA National 2'nd ]

MOORESVILLE, NC - Chuck Gafrarar is pumped up and ready for a return to the superspeedway action as the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series heads to the 1.5 mile paved oval of Kentucky Speedway on Friday, July 11th in Sparta, KY Gafrarar(Mooresville NC) takes the #14 Silver rocket, fielded from the Will Hobgood team, to the track geared to better his last season's 4th place finish! "I'm excited about the opportunity to drive the Hobgood car again...Will does a great job with the cars and he wants to win. We all look forward to a great finish for all three Hobgood cars."

Gafrarar comes off a whirlwind run in the WKA (World Karting) Team Simpson Summer Nationals, July 4 - 6, in South Bend IN. Gafrarar a Factory Team Driver for Margay Kart Products INC, St. Louis, MO and a Factory Team Driver for Dunlop Tire Corporation, represented the sponsors well at the South Bend Raceway Park . During Saturdays, McDonald's Motorsports, Briggs Heavy events Gafrarar qualified sixth and finished ninth. In Sundays, Pennink Arrimour Gold, Briggs Super Controlled division events he qualified third and brought it home in second place. Margay Team Driver Travis Firing, NC picked up the win giving Margay a one two finish for the Summer nationals! Gafrarar stated "this was a unique facility to race on - the speedway is six-tenths of a mile with 11 challenging turns and elevation changes. In Sunday's events we had to bring out the Dunlop Rain tires adding more to the event. My Brava 4 Margay and Dunlops were awesome. I really thought we had it heading in or the win. I really appreciate my sponsors and the opportunity for me to run this series in 2003, everyone has been great."
