Driver Chuck Gafrarar has a weekend off
and what does he do? He loads his race
trailer and heads out on an 8 hour drive
from Mooresville NC to East Lansing, MI
to race a Kart in the World Karting (WKA)
Horstman Gold Series Team Simpson Nationals
July 5 – 7.
In the East Lansing, MI - Goody’s Dash
Driver Chuck Gafrarar gets a weekend off
and what does he do? He loads his race trailer
and heads out on an 8 hour drive from Mooresville
NC to East Lansing, MI to race a Kart in
the World Karting (WKA) Horstman Gold Series!
In the team Simpson Nationals July 5 – 7.
Gafrarar who ran the Pro Kart series for
18 years, hit the track and qualified setting
the Fast Time at the East Lansing Kart Track,
East Lansing MI, in the Controlled Heavy
Division! Gafrarar started third in the final
main and led the event until the last lap
when his kart sputtered and ran out of fuel
giving Chuck a 4th place finish! Gafrarar
was a Factory Driver for the Dunlop Tire
Corporation and several Kart manufacturing
companies.Gafrarar’s next race in the
Goody’s Dash NASCAR Touring Series
#52 will be July 13th at Greencville Pickens
Speedway, Greenville SC. TV viewers can tune
in to the SPEED Channel Monday July 8th at
8 PM and see Chuck in car #52 with the broadcast
from the Kentucky Speedway, Sparta KY!
